The 2022 Season
Congratulations to Mark Wragg on winning our 25th season
Mark retains his title with some fantastic performances,
this includes 5 wins and a total weight of 2415lb 06oz and averaging just over 105lb per match
He was 34 points clear of second place and Keith Dalton
and what a season he had to
Keith smashed our long standing match record with a staggering 303lb 05oz from Woodhouse Grange on the heron lake
Keith had two wins and 2149lb 10oz
And in third place was Mel Barker, and his first year
with Matchgroup 2000 Mel won the Mackenzie Cup
from Aston Park Fisheries on Bills lake,
Mel also had two wins and 1895lb 01oz
In total the weight for the season was 37,253lb 07oz
thats an average of 1,490lb per match of fish caught
the best weight was Keiths 303lb 05oz
The best two matches of the season were both at
Woodhouse Grange with 14 ton weights
and 13 in another
These three lads Mel Barker, Mark Wragg and Keith Dalton
were the top three in the league and the three in the Mackenzie cup Final
